The Raiders started the scoring early with a 43-yard reception by Zach Miller. Jason Campbell made the throw to a wide-open Miller, who walked into the end zone untouched. After the ensuing kickoff, Kyle Orton too the snap and threw into double coverage on Jabar Gaffney. Cornerback Chris Johnson intercepted the ball and returned it 30 yards for a touchdown.
Sebastian Janikowski connected on both extra point attempts. The Oakland Raiders lead 14-0.
