Shooting guard Carlton Hurst of Aurora Central (Colo.) High School has committed to the Colorado State Rams.
The Colorado State basketball team got a big in-state recruit for themselves on Monday morning when Aurora Central senior Carlton Hurst gave a verbal commitment to new Rams head coach Larry Eustachy.
Hurst later tweeted the news to confirm that he was going to be a Ram come 2013.

The 6'3 shooting guard averaged 23 points, 10 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 4.0 steals per game for the Trojans last season, helping lead the team to a 20-4 record and a trip to the second round of the state tournament. He was named a second team All-5A pick for his efforts. Hurst plays club basketball with the Colorado Chaos.
CSU will be trying to build on a solid 2011/2012 season in the upcoming year, a season that saw them make it all the way the the NCAA tournament as a No. 11 seed before they were dumped from the first round by Murray State.
