Hughes reports that DE Nordly Capi, LB Mike Orakpo and DE Colton Paulhus engaged in a brawl with CSU student Donny Gocha and eventually his friend John "JD" Haley, who tried to protect his friend, Gocha. The three players apparently shared an argument with Gocha before exiting their SUV and engaging him physically.

Gocha and the three players were given disorderly conduct charges from the Fort Collins Police Department, while the Rams head coach, Jim McElwain, called the players' behavior "unacceptable."
