Larry Eustachy Introduced As New Head Basketball Coach At Colorado State

After a bit of controversy -- Ernie Kent was reportedly set to take the Colorado State job before being vetoed -- CSU officially introduced Larry Eustachy as the basketball program's new head coach on Thursday. Athletic director Jack Graham called Eustachy the "right man" for the job.

"In Larry Eustachy, Colorado State has one of the most well respected minds in college basketball," said Graham. "Larry has been highly successful at every stop throughout his career. I know that he is the right man to lead Colorado State to new heights."

Eustachy spent the last eight seasons at the University of Southern Mississippi, where he compiled a 142-113 record. He led the Golden Eagles to an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2012. He has led three different programs to the NCAAs during his career.
