Mountain West Tournament 2012: San Diego State Vs. Colorado State Game Time, TV Schedule, Bracket And More

The 2012 Mountain West Tournament continues on Friday afternoon with a semifinals matchup between the No. 1 seed San Diego St. Aztecs and the No. 4 Colorado St. Rams. The Aztecs barely escaped their opening round contest against the No. 8 Boise St. Broncos, needing a Jamaal Franklin three-pointer at the buzzer for a 65-62 victory.

The Rams, on the other hand, cruised to an 81-60 victory over the No. 5 TCU Horned Frogs in the second game of the day. Pierce Hornung led the way with 16 points, but Wes Eikmeier proved to be the sharpshooter with three of the team's four three-pointers.

The season series between these two teams was split, 1-1, with each one taking their respective home game. The Rams upset the Aztecs on Jan. 28 when the team was No. 12/13 in the polls.
