Stay connected for news and updates

It's a big weekend for the Colorado State Rams, who can solidify an at-large NCAA tournament bid with a solid showing, or, of course, guarantee a bid by winning the whole tournament. Their tournament began in the quarterfinal round against TCU on Thursday afternoon, and so far things have gone very well for the Rams, as they have a big 42-26 halftime.

Colorado State shoot the ball well in building that lead, particularly inside the arc -- the Rams hit 66.7% of their two-point attempts, and shot 59.3% overall. TCU, on the other hand, shot just 39.3% from the field and also lost the battle of the boards.

Dwight Smith has 11 points for CSU, while Wes Eikmeier has eight.
