The No. 4 Colorado St. Rams could be without forward Greg Smith for Thursday's 2012 Mountain West Tournament quarterfinals game against the No. 5 TCU Horned Frogs. Smith injured his ankle during practice on Wednesday, leaving his status still to be determined:

Smith, a 6-foot-6, 221-pound junior, averaged 9.7 points and 5.3 rebounds in 29 games. The former has him third on the team in scoring and the latter has him second in rebounding.
The Rams and the Horned Frogs will tip-off at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, NV, at 3:30 p.m. MT.
