The Boise State Broncos can put a positive spin on a disappointing season tonight when they take on No. 18 San Diego State in the first round of the Mountain West Tournament this afternoon. Boise State went just 3-11 in the Mountain West this year en route to a 13-16 overall record, but conference tournament season offers a clean slate to every team, and the Broncos will get their chance against a very good Aztecs team.
San Diego St. will be a heavy favorite. The Aztecs are riding a four-game winning streak, and went 2-0 against Boise State in the regular season.
