Wyoming Vs. Colorado State Final Score: Rams Come Back In 2nd Half For 54-46 Victory Over Cowboys

Trailing for nearly the entire first half and for the majority of the second half, the Colorado St. Rams were able to pull off a comeback victory over the Wyoming Cowboys on Saturday night, 54-46. The Rams didn't have a lead in the game until Greg Smith hit a three-pointer with seven minutes left on the clock (just after a Colorado State timeout). Taking a 41-40 lead, the Rams closed out the game on a 16-6 run for the 16th win of the season.

That three-pointer Smith made was the only one of his three shots from beyond the arc that went down the net. He finished the game with 14 points (6-of-11) and eight rebounds. Dorian Green chipped in 13 points.

The Cowboys, meanwhile, shot just 38.6 percent from the field and missed seven shots over the final seven minutes of the game. The team managed to score its final six points on four free throws and a layup. Luke Martinez led Wyoming with 15 points, nailing five threes for his total.

The Rams (16-9, 5-5 MWC) host the New Mexico Lobos on Tuesday. New Mexico is on a seven-game winning streak and beat both San Diego State and UNLV this past week.
