The Colorado State Rams (13-4, 2-0) go on the road to take on the Wyoming Cowboys (15-3, 1-1) on Saturday afternoon.
Knowing a victory would keep them at the top of the Mountain West standings, the Colorado St. Rams came out flat in the opening half against Wyoming and trail 32-19 after 20 minutes. The Rams have won eight straight and are one of two teams with an undefeated record in conference play.
Junior forward Greg Smith was the only player able to generate a rhythm on the offensive end, as he hit four of the eight field goals the Rams made in the first half. Smith was the lone CSU player to reach double-figures, scoring 11 points, while Pierce Hornung was the next highest scorer with just four points.
The Cowboys received a dominant first half performance from Leonard Washington, who scored 13 points and grabbed five rebounds. The transfer from USC hit four of his five shot attempts from the field and controlled the paint. Luke Martinez added 10 points for Wyoming, which shot just 39.3% from the field as a team.

Eikmeier averages 16.7 points per game and shoots 38.5 percent from three, while Green adds 14.2 points per game on 51 percent shooting from the field and a shockingly good 50.8 percent shooting from beyond the arc.
