Boise State Vs. Colorado State Final Score: Rams Win 66-55 To Extend Streak To Seven Games

The Colorado State Rams won 66-55 against the Boise State Broncos on Tuesday night to extend their current winning streak to seven games. The Rams took a 34-23 lead into halftime and extended the lead to as many as 17 points before holding onto that lead.

Colorado State didn't make a single field goal in the final five minutes of the game, scoring just one point on Pierce Hornung's free throw with 21 seconds left, but they didn't need to. Defense carried the team on Tuesday night, as Boise State scored just four points in the final five minutes itself and shot 34 percent from the field overall.

Three-point shooting is an area where the Rams did thrive on Tuesday, though, as they knocked down 9 of 16 shots from long range. Dorian Green led Colorado State with 20 points, while Kaipo Sabas pitched in 13 points himself. Wes Eikmeier was held to just five points on 2-for-10 shooting. The Broncos had three players scoring in double-figures, led by Westly Perryman's 16 points.

The Rams move to 13-4 on the season. They now sit atop the Mountain West Conference standings with a 2-0 record, one of four unbeaten teams in conference along with Air Force, New Mexico and No. 16 San Diego State. The Broncos drop to 10-7 this season, the only team to go 0-2 against Mountain West opponents thus far.
