Two of the nation's worst offenses meet in Fort Collins in a Mountain West clash.
The Colorado State Rams host the Hawai'i Warriors on Saturday, in a game between two teams looking for a first conference win on the season.
The Rams, losers of six straight, hope to regroup and get back into the win column after a bye week. After claiming a Week 1 win over rival Colorado, the Rams have lost their last six games by an average of 19 points. Ranking 104th in total offense, Colorado State has suffered as running back Chris Nwoke hasn't been able to repeat any of last year's performances. After running for more than 200 yards twice in 2011, Nwoke's 2012 single-game high is 68 yards.
At 1-5, Hawai'i travels to Fort Collins off a bye week as well. The Warriors' only win of the season came at home against Lamar, and they have lost their other games by an average of 34 points. The transition to Norm Chow's pro-style offense has been rough, as the Warriors are managing just 287 total yards per contest, which ranks 118th nationally. Quarterback Sean Schroeder has completed 54% of his passes for eight touchdowns and five interceptions.
