The Colorado Rockies have placed Chris Nelson and Jonathan Herrera on the disabled list. Nelson was admitted to the hospital on Monday to address an irregular heartbeat. He remains hospitalized for the time being.

In place of Nelson and Herrera, Colorado has added DJ LeMahieu and Andrew Brown to its big league roster.

LeMahieu has appeared in 19 games for the Rockies this season. Brown has spent the entire season up to this point in triple-A.
