Rockies 25-Man Roster: SP Tyler Chatwood Recalled From Triple-A

The Colorado Rockies have announced via press release that SP Tyler Chatwood has been recalled and SP Edwar Cabrera has been optioned back to Triple-A Colorado Springs.

Chatwood appeared in four games with the club so far in the 2012 MLB season, and the 22-year-old sports a 5.63 ERA despite a solid 3.31 FIP. In nine minor league starts for Chatwood, he showed a similar divergence in numbers, posting a 5.79 ERA with a 3.92 FIP.

Cabrera, meanwhile, pitched in only one game with the Rockies, a 2 and 1/3 inning start in which the 23-year-old allowed five earned runs (seven runs total) while walking three, allowing three home runs and striking out only one. He departs with a 19.29 ERA and 22.77 FIP.
