Nationals Vs. Rockies: Colorado Goes For Elusive Winning Streak On Tuesday

Stay connected for news and updates

The Colorado Rockies haven't enjoyed a winning streak since their brief two-game run from June 2-3, but with a win on Tuesday against the Washington Nationals they can match that less-than-impressive streak. It has been tough sledding for Colorado in June (the team is just 7-15 this month), so any little sign of life would be welcome at this point. The Rockies turn to Christian Friedrich to keep them on track, while the Nats will counter with lefty Gio Gonzalez. Friedrich has struggled during June, posting a 5.73 ERA and 1.64 WHIP over 22.0 innings with the team taking a loss in three of his four starts.

Tuesday's game will be played at 6:40 p.m. MT and can be seen on ROOT Sports and heard on 850 KOA.
