The Colorado Rockies are in Arlington, Texas for a weekend series against the Texas Rangers, and they may have infielder Jonathan Herrera at their disposal. The Rockies placed Herrera on the 15-day disabled list back in May (strained right hamstring), but according to Troy Renck of the Denver Post, Herrera has join the team in Texas and could be activated on Friday:

The 27-year-old infielder hit .239/.282/.373 over 75 plate appearances before getting injured. Meanwhile, veteran shortstop Marco Scutaro has hit .261 over the last week (23 at-bats) with just one extra-base hit and one RBI.
