Rockies Vs. Tigers: Rain Delay Begins In 4th Inning

The Colorado Rockies and the Detroit Tigers are in a rain delay during Sunday afternoon's rubber game. In the top of the fourth inning play was stopped for the time being, with the Rockies losing, 4-0:

Jeremy Guthrie allowed those four runs over the second and third innings. Gerald Laird came up with an RBI double in the second; Prince Fielder doubled in a run in the third after Guthrie allowed a single and a walk to start the inning; and Ramon Santiago singled home two runs a couple of batters later.

The Rockies, meanwhile, have five hits and against Ma Scherzer but also six strikeouts in 3.2 innings.
