Rockies Vs. Tigers: Colorado Looks To Pick Things Up After Saturday Loss

Stay connected for news and updates

The Colorado Rockies play the Detroit Tigers on Sunday in the rubber game of their weekend interleague series. After an exciting 12-4 extra-innings victory on Friday night, the Rockies fell to the Tigers on Saturday afternoon, 4-1. That game was highlighted by Miguel Cabrera's "little league home run," which you can see video of here.

The Rockies are hoping Jeremy Guthrie (3-5, 6.91 ERA) can put together some semblance of a decent start. He's allowed at least five runs in each of his last five runs, seven runs in each of his last two. Another bad start and Guthrie will inch himself closer to being out of the rotation.

Detroit puts Max Scherzer (5-4, 5.76 ERA) on the mound with a so-so June performance thus far this month. He's allowed 11 runs in 10.1 innings.

Here are the starting lineups for the day:

Game time/date: 11:05 a.m. MT, Sunday, June 17

Location: Comerica Park, Detroit, MI

TV/Radio: ROOT/850KOA
