Troy Tulowitzki Injury: Tulowitzki Says He'll 'Possibly' Be Back On June 15

Prior to the Colorado Rockies' game last night vs. the Los Angeles Angels, star shortstop Troy Tulowitzki completed a light workout that included running, fielding groundballs and hitting in the batting cage. Tulowitzki has been on the disabled list since May 31 with a strained left groin, and he told reporters that he'd "possibly" be ready to return to the team when he's eligible to come off the DL on this coming Friday, June 15.

Saturday's activity was the most that Tulowitzki has done since injuring his hamstring, and the team will ramp up his rehab this week if things go as planned. According to Tulowitzki, the biggest hurdle for him will be running the bases and especially taking his first step out of the batter's box after making contact with the ball.

The Rockies are 3-5 during Tulowitzki's DL stint.
