Colorado Rockies Roster Moves 2012: Jordan Pacheco Called Up

Stay connected for news and updates

The Colorado Rockies have recalled Jordan Pacheco from Triple-A Colorado Springs on Saturday. No corresponding move has been announced yet, according to Tracy Ringolsby:

Pacheco had made the club out of spring training and played in five games (three starts) before he was sent to the minors. He had two hits in 10 at-bats, one being a triple. However, he displayed shaky defense at third base and the team had Jonathan Herrera and Chris Nelson also vying for playing time with him.

He hit .433 with a 1.106 OPS and three home runs in 17 games for the Colorado Springs Sky Sox.
