After losing the first two games of the series, the Colorado Rockies are hoping to avoid a sweep at home against the Seattle Mariners on Sunday afternoon. The first interleague series of 2012 hasn't gone well for Colorado, which has been outscored 14-3 so far in the series.
With Jeremy Guthrie making his second start since coming off the disabled list earlier this month, the Rockies do at least have one of their better pitchers taking the mound. On May 15, Guthrie lasted 5.1 innings against the San Francisco Giants, allowing one unearned run on four hits and four walks.
Eric Young Jr. is getting the start in center field as Dexter Fowler gets a day off.
