Weather postponed the first game of the series between the Colorado Rockies and Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday, so they'll play a doubleheader on Wednesday. With the added stress to the pitching staff, the Rockies are bringing in RHP Zach Putnam from triple-A for the twin bill. Putnam will be the 26th man on the active roster, but as Troy Renck notes, there's an exception to the 25-man rule when a doubleheader is involved.
