Giants Vs. Rockies Score Update: Rockies Lead 16-7 After 6 Innings

Stay connected for news and updates

The Colorado Rockies scored in the first five innings to build a 16-7 lead over the San Francisco Giants at the end of the sixth inning Wednesday night at Coors Field. What's even more impressive is that Colorado caused the shortest outing of Tim Lincecum's career. San Francisco's star pitcher exited after 2.1 innings after allowing eight hits and six earned runs.

Colorado has not hit a home run yet. Left fielder Carlos Gonzalez has three hits, three runs and four RBI thus far. Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki has two hits, two runs, and two RBI. Catcher Ramon Hernadez and third baseman Chris Nelson also each have two RBI.

Nate Schierholtz and Brandon Crawford have each hit homers for the Giants thus far.
