Rockies Vs. Dodgers Final Score: Colorado Prevails 5-2; Drew Pomeranz Injured

The Colorado Rockies defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-2 in Cactus League play on Tuesday afternoon, but they lost starting pitcher Drew Pomeranz, who left the game after two innings with tightness in his right hip.

"I am not worried about it all," Pomeranz said. "It just got tight before the game. I told (pitching coach Bob) Apodaca when I was warming up. My arm felt great, but my hip never got loose so I figured it wasn’t worth the risk."

Pomeranz struck out two batters and did not allow a hit in his two innings of work. Jonathan Herrera went 2-3 at the plate with 2 RBI for Colorado.
