Rockies Vs. Dodgers: Kevin Millwood, Chad Billingsley Lead Afternoon Duel

The Colorado Rockies and the Los Angeles Dodgers take to the park for an afternoon ball game on FOX.

Kevin Millwood (1-1, 4.50 ERA) makes his fourth start of the season for the Rockies since being picked up as a free agent. He's thrown seven innings in two of his three starts and picked up the win in his last start. it was a seven-inning, four-strikeout performance against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Coors Field. He allowed three runs in the 5-3 victory. He is 3-1 with a 2.31 ERA in four career starts at Dodger Stadium. However, they came between 1998-2000, which is far too long ago to take anything from.

Chad Billingsley (10-10, 4.07 ERA) was Millwood's opposition in that Aug. 21 start at Coors Field. He fell one out short of recording an eight-inning complete game loss. He walked five and struck out seven in the loss, in addition to allowing all five runs. He has two other loss at Coors Field this season, but his May 30 start in Los Angeles against the Dodgers might be meaningful. He allowed one run and scattered 11 hits over seven innings for the 7-1 victory over the Rockies.

First pitch is scheduled for 2:10 p.m. MT.
