The Colorado Rapids take on the Seattle Sounders FC squad in a nationally televised match (9:00 MST on the NBC Sports Network) on Saturday night.

The Colorado Rapids are chasing the Seattle Sounders FC squad in the Western Conference MLS standings, but they have been playing slightly better than Seattle of late and now get a chance to gain some ground in a head-to-head matchup on Saturday. The Rapids are currently No. 5 in the Western Conference with 22 points (17 games played) and lost the first matchup against Seattle earlier in the year, but this time the Sounders (27 points over 19 games) are riding a nine-game winless streak in league play.

Colorado is just 1-5-1 all-time against Seattle, but perhaps they can turn the tide on Saturday. The match is scheduled for kickoff at 9:00 MST from Centurylink Field in Seattle, and will be broadcast nationally on the NBC Sports Network.

Game time/date: 9:00 p.m. MT, Saturday, July 7

Location: Centurylink Field, Seattle, WA

TV: NBC Sports Network

Radio: FM 93.7, AM 1510; FM 87.7
