The Colorado Rapids host FC Dallas on Saturday night. Both teams made trades on Friday.
The Colorado Rapids and FC Dallas both made trades on Friday afternoon, so Saturday's head-to-head matchup at Dick's Sporting Goods Park carries some extra excitement for both squads. FC Dallas sent third-year midfielder Andrew Wiedeman to Toronto FC in exchange for central midfielder Julian De Guzman, while the Rapids acquired defender Tyson Wahl from the Montreal Impact in exchange for an International Roster Spot for the 2014 season.
The Rapids have dropped four of their last five matches overall and currently sit in sixth-place in the Western Conference. Meanwhile, FC Dallas is in last place in the West with just 16 points over 19 games.
