MLS Standings 2012: Colorado Rapids 5th In Western Conference

Following a draw with Sporting Kansas City over the weekend, the Colorado Rapids (5-6-1 overall) find themselves in fifth place in the Western Conference. The Rapids are two points behind fourth place Vancouver and 10 behind first place Real Salt Lake.

The current standings out West:

1. Real Salt Lake (26 points)
2. San Jose Earthquakes (24)
3. Seattle Sounders FC (23)
4. Vancouver Whitecaps FC (18)
5. Colorado Rapids (16)
6. Chivas USA (13)
7. FC Dallas (13)
8. Portland Timbers (12)
9. LA Galaxy (11)

The Rapids return to the pitch on Saturday, May 26, for a home game against the Montreal Impact (3-6-3). Altitude will have the television coverage of that one.
