Jordan Webb earned back his starting quarterback during this past week in practice.

Colorado Buffaloes head coach Jon Embree announced on Friday that Jordan Webb will be the starting at quarterback when they go up against the No. 15 ranked Stanford Cardinal. Webb was benched during the second quarter of a 70-14 blowout loss to the Oregon Ducks.

Webb was replaced by Nick Hirschman, and Embree decided to open up the quarterback competition this past week. Hirschman did not fare much better against the Ducks as he completed just 7 of 16 passes for 64 yards.

Embree decided to have an open quarterback competition leading up to the Stanford game, and it was Webb who won the competition to earn hist starting job back. However, but Embree also said that Hirschman will be seeing some time on the field against Stanford on Saturday.

Webb has struggled all year and is 11th in yards per game in the Pac-12 and has just eight touchdowns to seven interceptions.
