Colorado, Dayton open the Charleston Classic on Thursday.

Two teams coming off wins to open their seasons meet in Charleston, S.C., on Thursday when the Colorado Buffaloes meet the Dayton Flyers in the opening game of the Charleston Classic.

The Buffaloes opened the 2012-13 season with a 74-59 win over Wofford last Friday. Freshman Josh Scott led the Buffaloes with 14 points while Askia Booker and Spencer Dinwiddie each scored 13.

Colorado is coming off a season that included an improbable Pac-12 tournament championship. The Buffaloes won four games in four days in the tournament to advance to their first NCAA Tournament in nine seasons, something they hope to build off of this season.

Dayton opened the year with a 74-61 win over Arkansas State on Saturday.

Thursday's winner goes on to face the winner between Baylor and Boston College on Friday, while the loser gets to play in the consolation bracket.

Dayton and Colorado meet Thursday at 10:30 a.m. MT. The game will be televised by ESPN.
