The Colorado Buffaloes' offensive line has struggled to protect the quarterback this season, and the job gets tougher against Will Sutton, the Arizona State tackle that CU coach John Embree calls the best defensive lineman he's seen this year.
Colorado center Gus Handler told The Denver Post what trouble the 271-pound junior poses to the Buffaloes offensive line.
"He's got a good get-off and he's a little bit shorter so he can get under you," Handler said. "He's just quick and agile. I know they list him at like 270. So he's not as big as some other guys, but he's just as tough as anyone else."
Sutton is second on ASU's roster with 34 total tackles. He has 6.5 sacks and 10 tackles for loss this year.
Arizona State's defense has been one of the surprises this year and is third in the nation with 21 sacks through five games. They've also picked off eight passes from opposing quarterbacks. Meanwhile, Colorado has given up 22 sacks this year.
