Colorado's run defense was already rated among the worst in the FBS division of college football, but after Saturday's trip to Oregon to face possibly the best offense in the country, the Buffaloes now officially sit 124th out of 124 FBS teams when it comes to scoring defense. Oregon put up 70 points on Colorado with relative ease, and according to the Ralphie Report, Colorado's first trip to Oregon in 26 years was merely something to survive:
But in all seriousness, when Oregon's skill players each have 100 yards of offense in the first half, there's not much you can do to win the football game.
The numbers were definitely in favor of Oregon on Saturday. The Ducks scored 56 points in the first half and played its reserves for the majority of the contest. Kenjon Barner rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns while De'Anthony Thomas rushed for 97 yards and a score. Bryan Bennett had 73 yards and three scores as Oregon totaled 425 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground.
As a team, Oregon had 617 yards of total offense.
