Fresh off a 44-point beating at the hands of the USC Trojans, the Colorado Buffaloes will once again suit up for one of the toughest tests of their 2012 season this Saturday to face the Oregon Ducks at Autzen Stadium.
Colorado's offense racked up 356 yards of total offense in the loss, but could muster only a pair of early field goals after the Trojans had already raced out to a big lead. Without enough viable depth behind him, junior quarterback Jordan Webb will once again be called upon to lead the Colorado offense in Week 9 despite tossing three interceptions against USC.
Webb has completed more than 54 percent of his passes on just two separate occasions this season, and could find his job in jeopardy with another lackluster performance.
Facing an Oregon team that has yet to stumble through seven games, Jon Embree's Buffaloes will be hard-pressed to slow down the nation's fourth-ranked rushing attack currently producing a hearty 317 yards per contest. Oregon tailback Kenjon Barner continues to lead the charge as the team's feature back, and will be in search of his fourth consecutive 100-yard performance come Saturday.
