Colorado and Stanford will kick off at noon in their Nov. 3 game.
The Colorado Buffaloes' game against the Stanford Cardinal on Nov. 3 will get a noon MT kickoff, it was announced Monday. The game at Folsom Field will be televised nationally by FX.
It'll be the first conference game between the Buffs and Cardinals. Colorado has struggled to a 1-3 conference start in the new Pac 12 era and a 1-6 record overall in 2012. A win over Stanford (5-2, 3-1) could serve as the first marquee conference win for the Buffs in their new conference.
Of course, that marquee win could come sooner, as Colorado takes on No. 2 Oregon (7-0, 4-0) this weekend. The Ducks have BCS title game aspirations, and would likely need to stay undefeated to reach that goal. Colorado could serve notice to the rest of the Pac 12 with a huge upset in Eugene, Ore., at 1 p.m. MT Saturday. It won't be easy. CU's pass defense is among the worst in the nation, ranked 117th. Oregon boasts the No. 8 overall offense in the country.
