The 6'4, 235-pound strong side defensive end from Wheatley High School in Houston had originally had a verbal commitment with the Missouri Tigers, but changed his mind after visiting Colorado during their game against UCLA over the weekend. His laundry list of other schools that were interested included several high-profile programs, including Michigan State, TCU and Texas Tech.
According to Rivals, Loud is the 25th-best defensive end in the country and is a three-star recruit.
