Linebacker Doug Rippy has been out of action since the Buffaloes faced Sacramento State, but he may be able to play on Saturday when the Buffs host UCLA.
Colorado look to have some good news on the injury front ahead of hosting UCLA on Saturday. Linebacker Doug Rippy was injured during the Buffaloes' game against Sacramento State, but he looks to be set to play on Saturday afternoon. The senior linebacker has been dealing with knee issues all season that have limited him in practice since well before the game with the Hornets.
CU starting center Gus Handler is listed as questionable for Saturday with an ankle injury, he'd be especially useful to have playing with fellow center Brad Cotner being ruled out due to toe problems. Free safety Ray Polk is the only other player that has been ruled out for the UCLA game, he's dealing with ankle problems.
The Buffaloes have two players that are currently listed as day-to-day while dealing with concussions. Linebacker Paul Vigo and defensive tackle Josh Tupou will both continue to be evaluated by the CU training staff ahead of Saturday's game.
The Buffs will host UCLA with kickoff being set for 4 p.m. MT. The game will be carried on the Pac-12 Network.
