Webb was instrumental in leading Colorado to a big fourth-quarter comeback on the road at Washington State. After going down 31-14 just seconds into the fourth quarter, Webb began Colorado's comeback with a 70-yard touchdown pass to Nick Kasa. He then finished the comeback with nine seconds left, scrambling into the endzone from the four-yard line.
When the comeback was complete, the Buffaloes had racked up 255 yards of offense in the quarter. Webb finished the game throwing 29-42 for 345 yards and two touchdowns, while adding two more scores on the ground. On the year, Webb is now 68-of-120 for 777 yards and six touchdowns.
The performance boosted the Buffs to their first win of the year, a welcome salve after a string of losses to rival Colorado State, FCS Sacramento State, and a 69-14 blowout at Fresno State.
