Colorado Vs. Fresno State: C Gus Handler Will Miss Bulldogs Game

Stay connected for news and updates

Starting center Gus Handler will miss the Colorado Buffaloes' Saturday game against Fresno State with an ankle injury.

It's just the latest setback in a rash of injuries for the Colorado offensive line. Handler was hurt during the fourth quarter of the Buffaloes' loss to Sacramento State last weekend. He was replaced by starting right guard Daniel Munyer, who had already moved over to left guard when starter Alex Lewis was hurt. Right tackle Jack Harris moved to right guard, and Ryan Dannewitz took over at right tackle.

Colorado coach Jon Embree said redshirt freshmen Brad Cotner (center) and Stephane Newmbot (tackle) could also see time on the offensive line Saturday.

The game at Fresno State kicks off at 6 p.m. MT on Saturday.
