The Pac-12 has announced that the Sept. 22 game between Colorado and Washington State will kick off at 2 p.m. MT, with coverage set to be on FX.
The Buffaloes are 0-2 this season after losing to Colorado State (22-17) and Sacramento State (30-28), leaving fans reeling after thoughts of a possible bowl game had carried them into the season. The loss to Sacramento State was most excruciating, a defeat at the hands of an FCS team on the Colorado home field. The loss led Colorado coach Jon Embree stating after the game that all coaches and players would be reevaluated.
Colorado will next face Fresno State on Sept. 15.
Washington State, meanwhile, is attempting to find their way under new coach Mike Leach. The Cougars lost their season opener against BYU, 30-6, before defeating Eastern Washington, 24-20. They will face UNLV on Sept. 14.
