2012 College Football Hall Of Fame Class: Colorado OL John Wooten, CSU DB Greg Myers Are Inductees

The 2012 College Football Hall of Fame class was announced on Tuesday, and former Colorado Buffaloes offensive lineman John Wooten and former Colorado St. Rams defensive back Greg Myers were both honored. Myers was a two-time All-American and a Thorpe Award winner with the Rams during his four-year career (1992-95), and he also set a record for All-WAC selections with four First-Team awards as a DB and one First-Team and two Second-Team selection as a punt returner.

As for Wooten, he was the second African-American player ever at Colorado during his career in the 1950s, and he went on to all-conference honors as a junior and All-American honors in 1958 as a senior.

2012 College Football Hall Of Fame Class: Air Force Safety Scott Thomas Inducted On Tuesday

The 2012 College Football Hall of Fame class was announced on Tuesday, and former Air Force Falcons safety Scott Thomas made the cut. Thomas collected 221 career tackles, 10 interceptions and 22 pass breakups during his four-year career. Air Force went 38-12 over that span, including four bowl wins, and Thomas earned All-American honors in 1985.
