The 2012 Pac-12 Tournament gets underway on Wednesday, and with so few teams confident of an NCAA tournament bid at this point, it's sure to be a tough fight. The top four seeds, all of which receive a first round bye, are Washington, California, Oregon and Arizona. Those teams will rest on Wednesday and get started Thursday.
Colorado had a solid run in the Pac-12 this season and the Buffaloes have been on the NCAA tournament radar for some time. But they were on the outside looking in as this week began, and then they went and lost games at Oregon and Oregon State. There aren't many Pac-12 foes that can help Colorado's standing in the RPI at this point, so the task is that much harder. The Buffs may need to win the Pac-12 tournament to get in the NCAAs, but that remains to be seen.
Colorado is the No. 6 seed in the conference tournament, and the team's first game is on Wednesday night against No. 11 seed Utah. The full Pac-12 tournament slate, with TV information included, is listed below.
