Just one day after John Fox spoke with the media at the 2012 NFL Combine, Denver Broncos executive John Elway took the podium and answered many questions, including, obviously, one about Tim Tebow. Elway said that he hopes Tebow is "the guy for a long, long time." Toward the end of the session, Elway did tackle a question about defensive tackle questions for the team:
Elway: "We have a lot of high priorities...Defensive tackle is no question an area we want to get better, but we also have some others."— Denver Broncos (@Denver_Broncos) February 24, 2012
Elway went on to add that he wants to bring back Brodrick Bunkley, whom the team acquired in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles in August. Though, Elway closed that comment out with a note that he wants all of his free agents back. Whether that's legitimately his belief is another matter.
