2012 National Signing Day: Jontrey Tillman Decides Against Colorado Visit, Signs With Houston

Defensive back/running back Jontrey Tillman was set to be a Stanford Cardinal but he had to essentially restart his recruiting process a week prior to signing day since he was denied admissions for unclear reasons even though he seemed to have the grades to get in. As of Jan. 31 his plan was to not make a decision on signing day but rather the idea was to take a step back and go on more official visits.

Tillman had a tentative visit scheduled with the Colorado Buffaloes this weekend which would have been his second visit after he took an official visit to the Houston Cougars. In the end Tillman decided against taking more visits and signed with Houston today.
