Hawaii Rolling Over Colorado At The Half, 17-0

Hawaii quarterback Bryant Moniz has struggled with his accuracy so far, but he has more than made up for it on the ground with 120 yards and two touchdowns rushing. The Buffaloes defense has surprised, playing very well outside of the long Moniz scrambles, but has they have been on the field for most of the first half.

The Colorado offense, supposed to be the stronger unit in 2011, has looked inept, only managing 100 total yards in the half and losing field position due to 56 penalty yards. Buffs fans expected a turnaround from the issues of the Dan Hawkins era, but so far thing don't look much different.

The Buffaloes were able to rally from a 10-0 halftime deficit last season in Boulder, winning the game 31-13, but a comeback on the road will be a much tougher struggle. Coach Embree has a half to convince fans to have hope for the season, let's see what kind of adjustments he will make to get the Buffs back on top.
