The Kansas Jayhawks and the Texas Longhorns, two of the top teams in the nation, will take the court against each other on Saturday night for the 2011 Big 12 Basketball Tournament Championship. In their only regular season game of 2011, the Longhorns defeated the Jayhawks, 74-63. Texas' J'Covan Brown scored 23 points coming off the bench, while the Jayhawks shot below 36 percent from the field.
The Jayhawks, at one point the No. 1 team in the country, defeated Oklahoma State and Colorado to advance to the championship round. Texas, as high as No. 2 in the country a couple of week ago, defeated Oklahoma and Texas A&M to face the Kansas in the final game of the tournament.
ESPN will air the game at 4:00 p.m. MT.
