The Colorado Buffaloes are hosting the USC Trojans on Saturday as they hope to end a current six-game losing streak, but it's going to be an awfully tall hill to climb. According to our partners over at Odds Shark, USC opens as 21-point favorites against Colorado, one of the larger spreads that you're going to see this week.
Coming into this game, USC has essentially all of the advantages despite losing their most recent game to Stanford last Saturday. They're currently 6-2 on the season and haven't played a ranked team other than Stanford, and shouldn't have much trouble outscoring a struggling Buffaloes club.
Colorado has lost six straight games coming into Saturday, and the past four haven't even been remotely close. They have one of the worst point differentials in the nation, averaging about 19 points per game while allowing over 38, and haven't shown many positive signs of late. The game's over/under is currently set at 56.5 points, but part of me wonders if the Trojans could trump that number all on their own.
