Colorado Vs. Washington Score: Tony Jones Puts Buffs On Scoreboard, But Still Losing, 38-17

The Colorado Buffaloes need to sustain the momentum from their opening drive score in the second half, unlike their first drive of the first half that resulted in a score and nothing after that. They scored on an eight-play, 74-yard drive to cut the Washington Huskies' lead, 38-17.

Tony Jones, replacing Rodney Stewart for the remainder of the game, snapped off a 38-yard run to start the drive. He found a wide open hole before Desmond Trufant had him out of bounds. Josh Ford followed with 13 yards on the ground, but a few plays later Tyler Hansen had to call a timeout. Though he followed with an incompletion, a pass interference call on fourth down gave the Buffs new life.

Tony Jones and Tyler Hansen brought the ball to the two-yard line before the former punched the ball in from two yards out. Will Oliver connected on the extra point to make it a 38-17 deficit for the Buffs.
