Washington State Vs. Colorado: Toney Clemons TD Reception Increases Buffs Lead, 20-10

Stay connected for news and updates

The Colorado Buffaloes wasted no time to increase their lead, scoring on the first drive of the second half. The Buffs lead the Washington St. Cougars by 10 points now, 20-10.

Tyler Hansen almost ended the drive early on when he had the ball forced from his possession, but he recovered it and moved the ball up by one yard. A 14-yard pass by Hansen put the Buffs in Wazzu territory. On third-and-three, Hansen found Rodney Stewart for a critical 34-yard gain. At the eight yard line, Stewart brought them in closer with a four-yard run.

Hansen, like the previous touchdown throw, dropped back and threw a fade route. This time he found Toney Clemons for the four-yard touchdown. The drive ate nearly five minutes off the clock. Can the Buffs defense hold the line?
