2012 NHL Skills Competition: Gabriel Landeskog, Team Chara Lose Skills Challenge Relay

The 2012 NHL Skills Competition has drawn to a close and the curtain has dropped for the lone All-Star from the Colorado Avalanche, rookie Gabriel Landeskog. The 19-year-old Landeskog participated in Event 4, the Skills Challenge Relay.

Landeskog filled the role of the stick handler in the Relay 1, the slowest relay of the day, finishing at a 2:45 mark. The results from Event 4 were as follows:

Team Chara

Relay 1: 2:45

Relay 3: 2:14

Team Alfredsson

Relay 2: 2:28

Relay 4: 2:08*

*Winning relay

With the victory, Team Alfredsson boosted their lead to 6-9, eventually winning by a total score of 12-21.

The NHL All-Star weekend continues on Sunday with the NHL All-Star game, set for a 4:00 PM ET puck drop.
