Former Colorado Avalanche right winger Wade Belak was found dead on Wednesday, reports the Toronto Sun. He was found dead in a Toronto condo. He turned 35 on July 3.
Belak played in parts of three season with the Colorado Avalanche between 1996-1999. He was part of the 1999 deal with the Calgary Flames that brought Theo Fleury to Denver.
No other details have emerged on the situation yet. Further reporting indicates that Belak hanged himself.
